In early 2013 the last remaining wall of the Craigie High School site was removed. With the site now leaving no trace of what history took place, a decision was made to acknowledge the significance of the 'Craigie Walls' and its contribution to the Perth Graffiti Culture. Working alongside LandCorp a permanent public art piece will be installed at the site to celebrate the stories, pieces and individuals of the suburb. This artwork will represent these Craigie Tales through the recycled bricks and stone work of the walls and create a lasting link to a past of painting and tradition.
